This don't mean I'm back or nothin', but....

Well, it's been a good few months, and I've been so gripped by depression and anxiety, I've hardly looked at my poor dollies, let alone my blogs and Flickr etc, etc.

Last week, I decided to start off with a pair of leggings for Lizette and see where they took me. I ended up designing a new vest top, and adapting my bolero pattern to make a tie front bolero, and then because I love Bakerboy hats so much, I made up one of those, and added a bag.

Spurred on by my success, I went on to make another outfit for Ell...

I picked some Liberty tana lawn for the smock-top, and well, you can see the rest. I love this so much, I wish I could wear it. Especially the boots which I bought on Ebay, and are for a MSD doll. But Ell always looks fab in MSD boots IMHO.

A couple of success’s later and I felt better about myself generally. I even treated myself to two new dolly’s. My god though, Pru’s head is massive. It’s way bigger than Ell’s and Lizette’s! I’ll need to raid my MSD wigs for some larger sizes for her.

It’s my first Pru, and I’ve never really taken to her before, but this version I think is the nicest one I’ve seen. The slightly punky eye make-up gives her a bit of sass somehow.

As for the outfit Ell came in, I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I kinda want to make my own version of it now....

Also, I have my first Amber arriving from the good old U.S. of A. soon. I did splurge rather....

  1. Glad you're feeling better and playing with the dollies again - I've missed you. I love your new girls. I love the outfit on Falling to Pieces Ell as well - I'm sure you can do a version. I have the same doll - she was also sold as Flora Fauna and Not so Merryweather with a red wig (and we know I like the redheads!) I think she's lovely! Fab outfits as well - I really like the velvet Bakerboy hat . Look forward to seeing your Amber!! Love those boots as well - I have a flat foot Ell as well now I think she'd love those!!!!

    1. Hiiii! Thank you. I'm slowly clearing out my workroom too, so any sewing will be slow, heh.
