Pleh

Really forcing myself to get on with the patterns today, which is soooo hard when one has new dollies one wants to play with.   It's not as if I can take an hour or two off each day, or a day a week, because I need to leave my workdesk set up for taking pics, and what I really want to do is make clothes for Cami and Phin.  Not enough space.  Boo. So I sort of have to do one thing at a time.

I keep picking up things like shoes, and wigs, and going off to rifle through my fabric stash, or make a coffee.   The sooner I get these patterns done, the sooner I can play.

That's what I keep telling myself. Oh look... Patience's hair needs combing...

  1. I know exactly where you're coming from... I had to force myself today to do some tidying and cleaning.... it was hard... I failed yesterday and made a dress for Patience instead (crochet!).... had to be very hard on myself today - did far too much ironing ...how did I manage to get that much in the basket, cleaned the kitchen floor and threw out 2.5 bags of dross..... now I'm allowed to do some more on my crochet shawl. Belinda (Glinda Patience) would prefer if I sewed her dress up but I fear she may have to wait lol!!! :)

    1. Oh, I've been there, Trish! Today I had to clean the bathroom and I kind of sped through it so I could carry on sewing. Then I realised the fridge needed a bit of a clean too. I'm lucky that I share a house with other adults and we each have our own separate chores, or I'd be doing laundry and hoovering, and all sorts when I could be sewing. You certainly earned the right to crochet!

  2. Hehe, you know what they say about all work and no play.....or is that all play and no work? Tough choice! ;)

    1. It started off as play with the patterns, now it feels like proper work! I just want to make Phin a load of clothes.
