Ellowyne sewing pattern SSP-029

Yes I has been quiet of late, but that doesn't mean I'm not beavering away at the dolly sewing patterns.   Here's the latest fro Raccoon HQ - an outfit with an Edwardian flavour.   To me, this also has a bit of a steampunk feel.

It's available now in my Etsy shop:

My Craftsy store:

And here on the blog: (Via Sellfy.)

Etsy will charge EU customers VAT (This does not affect America or other non-EU countries).  I always recommend people to look in my Craftsy store anyway, as the prices fluctuate, due to the international exchange rates.  I always suggest comparing prices.

This is an adaptation of an outfit I made a good few years ago now.  I was looking through the pictures on my hard drive, and rediscovered it.    I still have the leotard pattern I devised, but the bodice of my original dress needed a bit of tweaking.

Here's the leotard on its own:

For both leotards, I've used Spoonflower modern jersey in a print I designed.

And the girls in the underskirts.  I quite like this look even without the dress.  It would look good maybe with a bow or some ruffles at the neck:

And another snap of the completed outfits: (Ells head looks so small next to Pru's!)

I've included some ruffles in the pattern, which can be switched around to create the longer or shorter dress and skirt.    It would be quite easy to have a short-sleeved leotard too, with just a puff, if you run some shirring elastic around the cuff hem.

That's it for now.  I'm off to discover the next project.   I have a couple of ideas for Ell, but I'm taken with my new Evangeline friend, Angelique... so I'm a bit torn.   This style would look fab on Evangeline dolls, methinks.
