SSP-034 "Bollywood Style" For Ellowyne.

I love Indian/Asian fashion, so when I bought my 'Dream of marigold and cinnamon' Ellowyne, I was really inspired to create a Bollywood/Indian princess outfit.   I had some gorgeous fabric which I cut from a brand new skirt and blouse that a friend donated, so I've made something lovely and vibrant to illustrate the pattern.

I need to add lots of bling to the outfit, and then I'll list it for sale in my Etsy store.

In the meantime, here's the pattern itself:

Etsy will charge EU customers VAT (This does not affect America or other non-EU countries).  I always recommend people to look in my Craftsy store anyway, as the prices fluctuate, due to the international exchange rates.  I always suggest comparing prices.

If you wish to buy directly from me, I can supply a PayPal invoice and email the pattern to you within 24 hours.  Usually it will be faster than that, I'm just allowing for the potential differences in time zones.

Both top and skirt are fully lined, so that you can use really brightly-dyed fabrics with no danger of your precious doll getting stained.

I've added a beaded string to my skirt, to hold the shawl.

I do love Lizette's pretty face.

A shawl like this is so easy to make,  but is so versatile.

And I'm going to end this post with a gripe.   Is there a new Ellowyne head-sculpt?  I hate it.  They've made her face so much fatter around the lower jaw.  When I got my marigold & cinnamon, I noticed it, and I went to the Wilde site to see if it was just that particular doll, but ALL the new Ells seem to have a new face shape.

If you compare a new doll with an old doll, as I did, there is definitely a difference in the faces.

What the hell were Wilde thinking?  The old face is so much prettier.  I won't be buying any more Ells as long as they continue to use this sculpt.
